About this app:

EDGE touch is a pixel art editor only for 256 colors developed to draw the pixel art with iPhone/iPod touch. The pixel can be drawn directly by doing the tap, and it comes to be able to enjoy the pixel art easily anytime and anywhere.

The main function and the feature are as follows.

Basic drawing function that free-form curve, is straight line, square, round, etc.
Function that can be canceled at once by doing tap by middle finger at the time of drawing by forefinger.
Undo and Redo function.
Grid display function (It is revokable at intervals).
The adjustment by not only RGB color space but also the HLS color space is possible in the color palette.
Layer function.
Layer group function to edit two or more layers at the same time (movement and copy paste, etc. within the range of selection).
The same size can be displayed at the same time.
Animation function to use layer.
Function that exports to photographic library.

JSON-Parsing / Rails - Obj-C

Try to avoid Arrays, if not wanted. Best, to do this an the server-side, because fixing parsing-problems in Obj-C can be a debugging-nightmare.

Ruby got great array-parsing methods to do so. For example:

for f in friends

  postings.concat(f.postings) if f.postings.length > 0 ### THIS HERE
  postings.compact!
  postings.uniq!
  postings = postings.sort_by { |p| p.created_at }
  postings.reverse!

end

Better than

for f in friends

  postings << f.postings if f.postings.length > 0 ### THIS, IN THAT CASE

Messed around a lot with the Three20 Framework and decided against it. Most of the things really feel like "reinventing the wheel" - opposed to enhancing UIKit. The documentation is also far away from being great.

Very helpful reading, if strange EXC_BAD_ACCESS errors occur, for example if using "objectWithString" initalisation. Or having jams with the SBJSON-Object at the JSON-libary.
